Let’s Dance The Night Away….

Music is an absolute passion of mine. From The Beatles to modern dance floor classics. Being a wedding photographer also means that I get ample time to listen to my favourite tunes for inspiration whilst editing your wedding pictures. And I also like a boogie…. Much to the embarrassment of my kids!

The evening reception is most definitely one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph. When the lights go down, the loves flowing and the party starts I will be there ready to catch all those crazy dance floor moves. From the first dance through to the end of the party I love to capture the raw energy and emotion. Through my candid approach to wedding photography you will hardly notice I’m there leaving yourself and your guests to party on into the evening.

Evening Reception. Jodie & Tom. Powderham Castle.

Powderham Castle near Exeter in Devon was the amazing venue for the marriage of Jodie and Tom. Steeped in history with beautiful grounds this 600 year old castle formed the perfect backdrop to their wedding day. After a lavish wedding breakfast the old library was transformed into a dance floor. And what a dance floor it was! Towards the end of Jodie and Tom’s first dance their guests were invited to join them and thereafter the festivities lasted deep into the night. From a photographers point of view to capture the love, laughter and pure energy was an absolute joy.
